Today, while working on MLA and surface level revision I focused mainly on comma use. In project 1 I had a lot of issues with missing commas and run on sentences. In the project 2 revision process I looked mainly for sentences where I needed an introductory comma, and I also looked for run on sentences that needed a comma splice. I noticed in my essay that I did not use many commas, and that there were many run on sentences. After rereading it a few times, and picking out sentences that sounded strange, I was able to recognize where commas were needed, and I made sure to add them correctly.
